UrbanDaddyEditorial & Copywriting
From 2011 to 2014 I worked at UrbanDaddy in a plethora of roles ranging from editorial and copywriting to conceiving and pitching innovative, multi-platform digital programs to clients. Throughout my tenure, I developed a strong appreciation for UrbanDaddy’s incredibly defined voice and distinctive brand personality, one that often combines the highbrow and the low into an aspirational sensibility that never takes itself too seriously.
As lead editor of UD’s National and Jetset editions, I filed well over 1,000 stories on incredible products, restaurants, bars experiences, destinations, style and more, always written through the UD voice. I also served as the project lead for The Next Move, UrbanDaddy’s award winning mobile app, in its expansion to Philadelphia as well lead copywriter for Perks, the company’s ecommerce division, which drove millions of dollars in sales revenue through email marketing and product copy.
Beyond editorial and copywriting capacities, I worked as a creative strategist and marketing manager to develop, pitch and execute custom digital products for brands, several of which are featured on their own sections in my portfolio.
